2008 House of Bricks Shiraz
Over the last few years Piggs Peake has carved out a reputation for producing some of the biggest reds in Australia. This is the biggest Bricks Shiraz to date, courtesy of a mate sourcing us fruit from some quite old McLaren Vale Shiraz vineyards.
We then put it in brand new American oak hogsheads for a year. Big, big, big, big, big.
These big McLaren Vale wines have a tendency to be chunky, so we blend about 20% Orange Shiraz into them to give them a bit of elegance.
When to drink it?
Well, how does it taste?
Bloody fantastic right.
So, start drinking it. If down the track you still have some left, that wont be a problem, but seriously what were you waiting for.
