The House of Sticks Cabernet Merlot is a very reliable wine. Chris Wall has three clones of Cabernet in his vineyard, the one in the middle makes a more lifted wine, with clean fruit and firm structure. It just lacks flesh. So, James Sweetapples Cargo Road Merlot vineyards ride to the rescue.

The 25 year old vines at Cargo produce wonderful Merlot year in and year out.

A 40% addition of the Merlot fills out the wine while older oak is used to keep the fruit in the forefront.
