I think this wine emphatically stamps Piggs Peake Winery and the Cargo Road Vineyards in Orange as the leading producers of this variety in this country.

It is 100% Zinfandel off the 25 year old Cargo Road Vineyards. As we have learnt more about the variety over the last few years we have leant towards ageing the wine in puncheons, especially old ones. We now make the Wolf in a mix of new and old puncheons dating back to 1999.
