2009 House of Bricks Shiraz
A classic big boy. The House of Bricks Shiraz is made in new American oak Hogsheads and so a coconut character is often one of the first things you notice when you pick them up. The colour is deep and clings to the glass. On the nose I get red fruits and a smell like the lolly snakes my kids love. The palate is firm, like, really firm. This wine is going to take a little more than the couple of months its had since bottling to settle down.
