It’s been a few years now since Piggs Peake has produced a Merlot. The Cabernet Merlot blend kept eating it! Anyhow, in 2009 we got enough to bottle a straight Merlot once more. The wine is medium bodied with a wonderfully fragrant nose. Some nice French oak pokes through and adds a bit more to the wine. These are elegant wines, pure and clean.
