This is a wonderful wine. In suitable years small parcels of fruit are left on the vine until they become super ripe. These golden grapes are then crushed, pressed and fermented to 0.5% alcohol. Strong brandy is then added to raise the alcohol level up to 19%.

The wine is then aged in old puncheons over many years. The wine is golden and honeyed with hints of marmalade and nuts.

This style of wine is commonly drunk in Australia as a night cap.
